I like ducks, but they don't have any beaks, only bills!
Chickens have beaks, which is why I raise them. It's easy for them to peck

I agree, they get pretty aggressive when trying to get all the peas from my hand before the other birds. At least it doesn't hurt, unless they are biting my toes, that is,

These are my 6 week old pekin girls! They are already bigger than my runners and almost as big as my rouens. Happy Summer! I hope Lucky's foot gets better! Poor thing.

My flock of chickens were stolen from me while I was away. Trust no one with your beloved pets'. I'm looking into adoption of some older birds now. But they need love too! I hope God grants me my heartfelt need!

When I went back to Washington DC . I left only one hen "canna canna" who escaped prior to my leaving the birds with the so called friend! Happily, she and a buff O are happily in my care again. Canna, when happy.. Lays blue sapphire eggs for my enjoyment. Except for these latest earthquakes!

I never felt an angry peck, just love taps and deffinately eye contact! Wonderful animals! Ducks, chickens, and my new girlfriend!

LOL, Yes, Now that you mention it. I was born in MI and I vaguely recall being chased by Canadian geese and being bitten.
I have been in FL now for over 30 years and my ducks only show love. I just wen out this morning to let them out of the hutch, into their run ad they where literally jumping up and down when they saw me. (Or maybe it was when they saw their food dish).

Hey Steve & Mike, everyone is still hoping for more new/pics of Lucky and Flynn. Every one loves you guys so much on BYC.
