I have no idea what I am doing

Pics
Baby is actually on its first vacation to our summer place in eagle lake. I really wasn't going to go but when I got home my sister was babysitting and he was Trina to him out of his cage which is over two feet tall. We had to buy a wire top to keep him in. So I went a got an adapter for the car to plug in the heating pad and off we go to the lake for the weekend. Life is good I'm beyond thrilled and will have plenty of pics
Not exactly sure who is Trina, but sounds like a great plan whatever! LOL

Do you have a wet suit so you can swim together?:D

What a lucky duck! How about the name Lazarus?

Do you know how long before they are expected to hatch?:D
Yes, they're between 17-19 days. The one is day 18 for sure, the other is either day 17 or 19. The mother was killed by a fox sometime today and we just got done warming them back up using a heating pad... when candeling we can see definite movement from the day 18 egg, and even hear a peep! Right now I have them inside a small Tupperware container, with a wet sponge, on top of the heating pat inside a box..... Do you think that will work?! I'm obviously in over my head... we had planned on mama handling all of this :(

I believe Steven had a thermometer/hygrometer and I was looking for the only photo i saw, but can't find it right now :(. So if it's 28 days for ducks you also have about 10 days left. Sounds like a repeat but with 2 babies! No incubator available I assume? It seems like there are orphaned duck eggs everywhere :D. Hold tight and you will probably get lots of tips.:D

I should have specified they're chicken eggs. Sorry about that, I was a little frantic when finding them, and their three now orphaned baby chick siblings. No incubator, and no way to get one tonight.

OOPS Sorry, but no that's lucky... they are almost ready!

Then they'll probably be okay...@AmyLynn2374 ?
