I have no idea what I am doing

Just wondering if I need to switch to straw next time in case .... Does it hurt them if they eat a little of it? One funny thing I noticed is occasionally there will be a red shaving mixed in and they notice them right away and play with that one red shaving! I've even watched them fight over the red shaving lol. It must taste different.
the one thing you have to watch with straw and especially hay, is that it molds very quickly

Lucky got a big giant pool today. Michael had to strap on to top of the car to get it home. We put lucky in last night and not the reaction I expected at all. He was very calm and mostly just floated around and paddled through with a little splashing. When we did that in the house he was under water in minutes like the torpedo and Mike and I were soaked every night with water dripping off the kitchen cabinets. A bunch of the neighbors came over to see his first swim in the big pool. Maybe it was all those people watching and he was shy lol

...or maybe he was keeping an eye on that octopus on the bottom of the pool ;)

So, Dads... since you invited everyone to come over and stare at me during my bathtime, I'm gonna do the same thing to you next time you shower... :p

Not sure this is where I should post this but I need some help!!! I just rescued a baby duck from my apartment parking lot, I walked around carrying the crying thing while looking around for the mom but it was all alone. So I took it in. I am thinking it's a mascovy duck because that's what I'm seeing around me. I have no clue what age or sex the thing is or what I should be feeding it. It's a little scared but will take a nap in my hands, it also keeps trying to hide it's head? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!
