You may need to put up a temporary fence between them for a while. Somewhere they can see each other but can't hurt each other. Don't give up to quickly . . it has taken months for my three new girls to get along with my original three.View attachment 1161796 Hey all I'm so sorry I didn't post yesterday but it was a crazy day. We picked up Flynn around 1:30 on Sunday and brought him home and the poor thing was terrified. That didn't last long though. We was a bit on the aggressive side and we had to basically stand over them all day as I was trying to avoid separating him from her as it was a crazy day for him. He kept lunging at her but I was thankful that nobody was running after each other trying to attack although he did get a nasty nip at her last night and she let out a little cry. I am hoping things change quickly because I can have her getting hurt. I have an agreement that his previous family will take him back if it doesn't work. I just hope we did the right thing for lucky.
I set up a run inside of Lucky's run so they can still see each other. I'm hoping no biting will be going on through the fencing. Yes she has warned me about the mating issue. Im worried but one problem at a time lol before I have a breakdown. You have no idea how bad I felt last night when he nipped her. I'm hoping the noise she made was out of fear and not pain. You may need to put up a temporary fence between them for a while. Somewhere they can see each other but can't hurt each other. I assume rav. Has probably warned you already but duck mating is not nice. . so be prepared for that and try not to flip out
hope things calm down and they can be happy in love
