View attachment 1203683 View attachment 1203686 we plan to collect rain water from the gutters and run the plumbing out to the big pond we've been working on that's beside the duck palace. . eventually we will fence off that area around the big pond to where the ducks can free range some outside their run and play.

Just started snowing here on Long Island and expecting about 5 inches. Lucky and Flynn do not seem to be all that interested in the white stuff coming down yet although it's not snowing terribly hard yet. I can't wait until they get a bit of accumulation in their run to see what they think of it.

Ok here is Lucky's first snow. Flynn didn't want to get out of the pool but Lucky wanted to make her fist snowman. Here it is from start to finish. Not bad for a duck lol.

These poor babies have a frozen pond today with temperatures in the mid to upper twenties with a real feel of 15 degrees. I hate this, they were sitting around quite a bit today because they were so cold. We just brought out a couple of tubs so they could clean up a little. I feel so bad for them. I barely slept last night.
