I have no idea what I am doing

Something very strange just happened. I was going over her and eyes and feathers look good then I was feeling underneath gently and it felt hard almost like there could be an egg inside her then she grabbed my hand with her bill grabbed tight and didn't wiggle her head like she was bitting then her tail went down and she was swaying back and forth almost rubbing her bottom on my leg while she had a strong hold on my hand

It does sound like she might be coming into lay :) The days are getting longer now, and cranky behavior is typical of a bird that's getting ready to start laying. If she's acting healthy otherwise, it's definitely a possibility. I'd keep an eye on her to make sure no other odd symptoms show up, but I wouldn't be too worried. Is she still pooping normally? Does she have oyster shell on offer in case she needs it?

A little further back he was first concerned because she did not seem to be eating( approx 2 days) and had runny(and very small quantity of) poop?

Neither one of them are eating much of their food but temperatures are nearly 50 and they appear to be digging around all day so I really don't know. I'm hoping there will be more poop from her when we bring them in later

I noticed too that my ducks eat less on warm days when bugs and worms are available to dig up :)
