I have no idea what to do!😭

Hi Everyone. I already posted this in a vet group but did not get any input regarding what to do. Here is the posting. Maybe I can get more input in this group. I am becoming desperate since he seems to be walking less and less.
And he is not eating as much.
His name is Gladstone, African goose, maybe about five years old? Very tame. I acquired him 4 years ago. He is our pet.

He is lame. Having problems walking. Sometimes just stands on his one good leg.

I washed his feet and soaked him in epson salt water so I could check the bottom. I don't see any bumble feet. Although I can see what seems like some callouses?

Please help me. I do think he has also lost some weight.

I have him confined in a big cage with easy access to water and feed. But, neither Daisy, his mate, or him are to happy. I just don't want him to hurt himself further.

I've called around but, vets are not interested. TY.

Those calluses don't look normal... You said he has a mate- Daisy? What do her feet look like? And she is doing fine, correct? What are they walking on?

They walk on dirt and grass. They have a kiddie pool they use to cool off. Daisy's feet are fine and she does not have trouble walking.

Those look like some sort of infection, bumblefoot is a staph infection caused from the bacteria entering a cut or abrasion, usually you can see a plug if iTs bumblefoot.
Other kinds of bacteria could also be causing this so you might try putting him on a broad spectrum antibiotic and seeing if that helps, something like baytril

Is there something going on with his face? The left side looks a little puffy but it’s hard to tell.

Agreed looks fungal.

Rinse feet with peroxide. If bubbles, then damaged tissue, likely staph. Keep feet clean and treat 2-3x daily with chlorhexidine (not as damaging as peroxide for healing tissue). If superficial then that usually works after a week or so. You can test with peroxide to see if bubbling less. If infection spreads internally, then you can try Baytril, but for best results, treat with penicillin injections (can get supplies at feed store). If all that does not work, then take him to UF Gainesville. Good luck, he's a beauty!

I appreciate this reply even though Im not the one who posted. Can you give more information on chlorhexidine. where you get it ect. I understand that peroxide also damages tissue... when you treat with it how do you do do a foot bath or pour on. Is it as efficient as peroxide at pulling poison out?
I used Ideal Drawing Save this year on my 2 boys who got foot problems. Its ingredients are Ammonium Bituminosulfonate 20%, Anhydrous Lanolin, Amber Petrolatum
It was allot of work along with Epson salt soaks and I never got 100 percent. There doing well but...
Any more information on how I can improve would be great.
It was goat heads and russian thisel (tuble weed) that got there feett. I spent most of the summer fall and still am burning and touching them but garentee they will be back so the more I learn....

You can get chlorhexidine at walmart or any drug store. The brand name is hibiclens.
I hold goose in lap, stretch leg out behind so foot facing up and pour the peroxide onto foot. It penetrates and cleanses deep, and attacks the damaged tissue, but not sure about pulling poison out.
