Murdocks got chicks in this morning and sold out by 10am!! We got there at noon, and were too late it. People looking for chicks were pretty ticked! Yikes!!

NO! I can ONLY have two... seriously... I swear... ok, maybe three... but I draw the line... like Uncle Buck said (from the movie Uncle Buck) "it's in the books!"
... yeah right huh? lol!

I'm one of those that live in an urban setting and have 2 chickens and thats all I need!

I just put my foot down and it works like a charm!

nope, I don't need a third chick... well, maybe just this once...

(New White rock chick...) It was only to match the 2 black australorps, HONEST! Now I can put my foot down because I'm serious now! right?

Hey, you're not too far from me. Where'd you pick your chicks up at? I've gotten all of mine from Monroe Farm and Feed. I really need to stop going in there, lol.

It amazed me how annoyed people were getting because the chicks were gone. I don't know how many Murdocks got today, but I'm guessing they were gone in about 2-3hours! I just laughed because I put my Ideal order in on January 10 when they started offering spring chicks. It's bizarre how popular chickens are becoming.

Got the australorps 11 months ago at the monroe farm and feed, and the white rock I got when I 'accidentally' went into the Snohomish Co-OP

I'm there with you. Hatching will remedy the problem. My boyfriend and I joke about how for most couples, a few beers and a romantic night might end with a human baby, but for us it is trouble, because we will order exotic chicks from a hatchery under those circumstances.

Now, we have a rooster, and fertilized eggs, and we hatch. It is much better.
