I just bought more chicks. This thread made me want to even more. Its kind of like when you quit smoking, and then you start talking about it, and then, its all over.

I just bought 25 Silkies and 20 Lakenvelders. I am planning on selling most of them on Craigslist though. I love to raise them up and sell them when they are almost adults.

I can tell this "disease" has already affected me and I don't even own one chick yet. But not only am I getting 16+ chicks from the feedstore on April 8th, but my friend with Banties is saving eggs for me right now, that I will begin incubating around March 24th, so they will hatch just about the same time my chicks arrive! I definitely have no idea what I'll do with the banties. I hope someone will buy the chicks from me...wondering about that Craig's list idea!!! Kristy

Banties are fun, just you wait!! I swore I'd never get banties, and now we have 5 with 3 more on the way.
