hi I have one laying hen that I need to re-home until spring , I would need to get her back in spring. she is a little under 2 years old.
we just moved to Pittsburgh and didn’t know we couldn’t have chickens in our neighborhood. We are going to be buying a house in the spring so we need someplace she can go until then, we would pay for her food and any other supplies you would need for her. You can have all of her eggs, we can even bring you the dozen or so eggs we have right now if you like She is very sweet and good.
We are willing to Transport her up to 100 miles from Pittsburgh.

Hi there. I may be willing to take in your chicken, but I live in Cleveland (2 hours). This might actually work out very well because we only have 2 hens right now as we wait for our 2 pullets to start laying. We want more eggs than what 2 can provide. I will have to ask my fiance if this is okay though, and of course you would have to be okay will driving to CLE.

When would you need to bring her? We are in the process of building a new coop / converting a shed.

Sorry for the late reply, would you still be able to take her? If so we would be willing to drive to Cleveland (specially since my mom really wants to see a great Lake) whatever time is good for you is fine with us, the sooner the better.
