So here is an early baby picture:
As of right now, we have 2 beautiful babies, two aurucana chicks, the first one, who is slightly bigger, is a lush yellowish down splashed with dark brown streaks. Our little second baby, is a beautiful light yellow with just a hint of brownish around the ears...possible future ear tufts? Is it possible to know the coloring by what their down is?
I have one more egg peeping right now, right after I send the little guys upstairs into a brooding box, an egg in the incubator stared peeping, as of this morning no pips yet. We had thrown in a few RIR eggs, one is really due today and the others not for a few more days.
So exciting I will be doing little work today
