I HAVE PIPS!!!!!!!

My black coppers arde due to hatch tomorrow and have 5 pips this evening and some cherping eggs. I also have some BLRW due tomorrow but I'm worried about them. I bought 18 of them and the PO did a number to them to say the least! 2 were broken so I put 16 in the bator at the same time as the BC's. Only 4 of the 16 BLRW developed. These eggs did come from a BYC member with a good reputation so I know the eggs were in good shape when they left their hands. I blame it on the PO. I'll keep my fingers crossed on them. The black coppers did much better. 11 of the 12 developed so I know it wasn't a bator problem.

Congratulations! That is so exciting! I've had my post office egg experiences as well. It's such a shame that so many great eggs get ruined in shipping.

I have to take photos of my BCM chicks tonight or tomorrow....they are really feisty!

4 BCM's are out this morning and 1 is starting to zip. Nothing yet from the BLRW's though.
