As long as it's somewhere else! I have now been in houses struck by lightning 3 times, and it is NOT fun. It's painful, too.

ETA, some of my old TX buddies will not come near me when it's storming, and one showed up at a BBQ at my house with a lightning rod on his head!

We haven't had rain here since May

We had some close the other day,you could smell it in the air & it frizzled out.
It'll take a hurricane to break these non stop 100 degree days. I don't won't anyone hurt either, just lots & lots of rain.

i used to want a hurricane because i never been in one... now i dread them hurricane rita a tree fell on the roof of the house i stayed in ... hurricane Ike we stayed at hubbys work and the roof peeled off while we were sleeping... though the rain would be nice the rest can stay away

I LOVE thunderstorms....I just don't want anything dangerous, or damaging. A nice light show & heavy rain would be spectacular, though!

sweet! i found a quarter, a thimble, two dust bunnies (one that tried to bite me) a piece of popcorn, two matchbox cars, 32 Dorito crumbs, some purple string, a Chiquita Banana sticker and two Hello Kitty Hair Ties!

then it started thundering!
