I have seriously LOST my marbles.

Thunderstorms are great, in my eyes-- we've gotten a couple of big ones in north Texas lately-- but I would wish for thunderstorms without hurricanes, tornadoes, or hail. One of the fun things about living in the south is summer thunderstorms-- those don't have to hurt anybody. I love opening the windows or sitting on the porch and feeling/smelling the storm...there's nothing like it.

Just yesterday and the day before that we had some lightning and thunder. On Thursday we had a massive thunderstorm; lots of lightning, loud thunder, wind, and heavy rain. We stayed up at night to watch it until it finally passed.

I love watching them, as long as I'm inside, not outside!

I do to wish that we would have some major storm, like a small tornado, because I've never experienced it before. We don't get anything like that up here in Maine; maybe a couple small ones once and a while, but not very near to where I am.

Call me crazy, but I think it would be fun!(as long as our house, the chicken coops, etc. weren't completely destroyed).

I would give anything for a few hours of rain... It rains all around us but never at my house... if it don't rain here soon I am going to cry...

Nothin like a good storm, as long as no one gets hurt.

I did too have marbles! You were jealous that I had more than you, so you stole mine.

I love storms too but all this thunderstorm business almost every day is stressing me out because of the hail. On the fourth we had another whopper of a storm. The sky was like electrified everywhere and it thundered for 1/2 hour straight. I mean constant rumbling with no quiet spots in between. I've never heard anything like it before. Of course it dumped hail with the rain again!

It was like we were sitting right inside the middle of the clouds. I'm getting worried I won't even see a harvest this year from my garden. Starts looking good and the hail shreds it again and again. Apples look terrible. But, today so far is beautiful!!! There's always hope for a new day!!!

I've always been an avid storm fan, just as long as its not going to destroy my house!

We get some nasty thunderstorms here in NJ and some side effects of hurricanes, but not much else. I'm not such a fan of hurricanes, but I LOVE tornadoes. We've had a few in my lifetime come through NJ and just the other day I thought for sure one was going to touch down. The clouds were swirling like crazy.

I'd love to get involved with one of the twister chase clubs out west someday, I just don't want my house destroyed by one! LOL I love getting right into nature, as long as I'm not in immediate danger. I always said I'd love to work as the photographer for one of the chase teams!

We've had a TON of rain this year. It has rained just about every day in the month of may and june. These last three days were actually the first three rain free days we've had in a row all summer. In the month of June alone, we had 10+ inches of rain. We often don't even get that in a year.
