i have some questions about my roo

he is a silver laced polish who won't crow and he is 3 month old so why won't he crow? also when the neighbor's rooster crows and he hears it would it make him want to crow also? does he think he is a hen? he is kind of hen pecked, does that affect the crowing situation at all?

Chickens are as individual as human peeps. He probably just hasn't matured enough to start crowing. My two roosters were 5 weeks apart on their first crows and they are the same breed.
Once he does start crowing he'll more than likely get into some crowing contests with the neighbor's roo.
