Hi! I have 11 babies in a brooder box in my kitchen, and even though I handle all of them there are 3 especially that want all my attention. I think it's so funny. They are barely 3 weeks old. 2 of the Plymouth Rocks and then one Silver Winged Wyandotte are so demanding it's amazing. They call to me constantly to come over and see them, and they hop on top of the feeders to get closer. When I put my hand in they'll rush up and lay down in it, lol. They'll stay there as long as I let them. Isn't that funny? When one is 'having their turn' the others will peck at my arm so I know they're there! Sometimes they'll be kind of mean to get the other chick out of my hand so they can move on up. Think they'll be this way as adults? It's funny because some of the other chicks can just take it or leave it when it comes to petting or being held. But these girls are definitely special!
