I wish "baldies" feathers werent growing back, or I would send you a picture of her - she is a black australorp and got her head and neck feathers picked out ( no blood-just plucked ) her skin was all white and crusty looking tho. - UGLY!

He makes a perfect Kramer. I can't believe he's 15 weeks...that's how old my Silkies are and they are much bigger and fluffier than that. I was worried mine weren't fluffing out enough, but now that I see yours, I don't feel so bad.

Honestly, I think I beat you hands down. My silkie hen never grew her hat, it's more like a buzz cut. Plus the top half of her neck is barely feathered. Then we have one of my australorps, who is mooning everyone. We're talking top, bottom and sides of her rear, plus the back of her legs are bare. She looks horrible! I've tried sevin, de and blu-kote. I know she's not getting picked on by the others, because she and the silkie are the coop bullies.

I have some UUUUUGLY pics of my Sizzle when he was younger, but he wasn't nearly as feathered so I guess it doesn't really count. Most chickens go through that ugly half-feathered stage. Your "Kramer" is too old for that though
