I have thieves

I have learned to not take food outside!!I never get it between the goats and chickens. How can you not give it to them, they are just so darn cute.

PigChickens - Hey, I have them, too! I was unfortuante enough to have a pice of cold pizza in my hand, and accidentally dropped it in the chicken run one evening; well, you'd think it was a hot fudge sundae or something! Holy cow! Yep - my girls and boy love pizza!

I can't even walk outside with clippers in my hand any more. I get mobbed and then get stink eye for not having food.

When I go to collect goodies from the garden I sneak out with the bowl behind my back so no feathered people see me. It's like I'm stealing from my own garden.

Pigchickens indeed!

If I take food outside my dogs, cats, horses, and chickens are begging. I was on lamb watch one night when we had sheep and my mother brought me out a cheeseburger. I sat it down still in the wrapper and the next thing I know my ewe was eating it! I could not believe it. But that pretty much taught me to eat indoors (or at least in the car) and not in the barn.

Better roll up them windows in the car...my mother had her favorite roo jump up to window height and steal something from her once. Oh she was mad and laughing at the same time. I was 17 at the time and thought she had lost her mind. Fuming and diddling at the same time.

PS: I should tell you that she snuck off and got some junk food with no plans on sharing with us so we think the rooster was right in stealing it from her. She should always share.
