I have to ask this does anyone know what the worlds best incubator is?

"worlds best" is probably a relative term.. Hatching depends on many things but not only: humidity, temperature, activity of the embryo, altitude, size of the egg, the thickness of the shell, the handling of the egg before it went in the incubator, amount of time after the egg has been laid, diet of the mother hen, etc, etc, etc, etc. You can buy incubators that control everything from turning the eggs, to circulating the hot air, to controlling temperature and humidity (all of these things vital to a successful hatch rate), but if your eggs were kicked around by USPS (like mine) you still get crappy hatch results.. Successful hatching, just like anything else in life, requires LOTS AND LOTS OF PRACTICE..

If u want the BEST get a Brinsea (www.brinsea.com), Lots of models to choose from... Although there are literally thousands of Manufacturers.

I would imagine the "worlds best" is in a hospital somewhere!

I wouldn't trade my Sportsman 1502 for ANYTHING....... except 2 of 'em.

The "best" for what most people can afford and use is probably the hovabator. Its easy to use and pretty reliable. But like the person above said. there is so many variables in good hatch rates that you never really now whats gonna happen.

I have 2 Hovabators.. Model (1602N) with circulating fans... They are great foam incubators

Also, i Second that Hospitals or Hens are probably the best!! They have had truly the most "TIME" to practice
