I have to talk POLISH!

Got my Tolbunt Polish chicks today and have my Tolbunt eggs coming Wed or Thursday! I can't wait YIPPIE!

I got a question. I have my flock in my backyard free range. Behind my yard I have a half acre fenced in. Do you think it would work if I put 2 roos out there? There's an old 2 stall barn they can roost in. They don't get along in a pen. But what about on the half acre?

I have a few roos on a half acre. For the most part they keep their distance and eat at different times.

Ok, any chance this might be a roo? I know it's hard to tell with the horrible picture, but I was trying to hold him and get a photo with my cell phone. I'm asking because my other Buff-laced Polish looks decidedly hen, but this one has more tail and it's poof is out of control whereas the hen's poof is uniform and shaped.

Yes, he has poo oh his head. There is not a time of day he doesn't have poo on his head. I clean the poo off and 5 seconds later it's back. I guess he just likes poo because I can't even find any poo to clean up in his pen, but yet, he finds some.

Looks like a girl to me. Feathers kinda look boyish but I see no red on the wattles at all. Haha funny 'poo eatin roo'. lol

I have just a few and I am not a professional chicken photographer so you'll have to bear with me...

SL pullet. Not beautiful yet but she will be...


The chocolate. She's quirky and I like her. Question: should her cap be solid white to be worth show or breeding?


Here she is with my Lavs. I love her uniform brown coloring. You can sortof see where her cap has been pecked. I was told to wet it to get it to grow back faster. Any other thoughts??

Aw pretty!!! Love the chocolate color. Still drooling My white crested girl (blue body) has blue up the front of her crest too....interested in the answer on this.
