Born May 30th. Here is the golden laced that I THOUGHT might still have a chance at being female until I saw yours. It has small wattles, but they definitely have color to them.

and here is the one that I was thinking was for sure a girl. It has tiny wattle development with barely any color yet.

and finally, our ONLY silver laced chick. Rosy wattles! ARGGG! And a CRAZY lop-sided mohawk. My daughter will be heartbroken if this is a male. It's "the chosen" one this time around.

I was also wondering if the color pattern has anything to do with determining the sex. One has much more gold than the other on the golden laced chicks...

I am selling my polish and need help on pricing them. I have a SQ WC cuckoo frizzle rooster, a BQ wc cuckoo smooth hen that does lay but she lays very very few eggs, and a BQ wc black hen that lays about every day. I am selling them as a trio, what would be a good price? And also a wc black frizzle baby that's 2 weeks old with a huge vaulted skull and correct leg color, how much?

Could any one tell me the diferences between a houdan and a polish, I go to a lot of chicken auctions but havn't seen a houden yet, maybe I keep thinking they're polish....

Hi, This is "Fluff" my 14 week old Gold-laced polish hen X Gold silkie Cockerel. She is my friendlyist hen!!! She loves to sit on my lap and fall asleep while stroke her, Does any one know what colour I should be calling her? I think I've made a Black crested something, Black crested in polish is rare?
Because she's cross silkie s her feathers are realy soft, she has 5 toes, black skin and a little bit a feathering on her legs. She has an even fuller crest then her poland mum!!

Is number 8 a crele polish? Cool looking color.They all look like females to me.

#5 and #8 are crele, but #5 is gold with the crele markings...I'll try to get some side shots of that one, it looks really cool
