I have to talk POLISH!

Hey guys....sso I don't own a polish....and I always thought they were small like silkies...but I seen a roo recently at a swap and realized they are more a standard size than a bantam size. Now how is there egg laying and egg size? Do they lay standard size eggs or more bantam cochi/silkie size??

Any info would be great....then I may be going on the search for polish hatching eggs!

WHAT!!!! You hate Polish???? I know they're not practical, but they're cute . Way back when, my first 2 chick choices were JG's and Polish. I do love your BR's tho........

My first chickens from a hatchery included a few Polish. They were the first to go. They were so blinded by their crests, they would run into the fence and poles, etc.... They had to go. Cute to look at and I am glad others enjoy them. Just not for me.

I have a special needs buff laced polish, Carl. Could be Carla.. Waiting for obvious signs (crowing/eggs). I have had him since August 1st, and he hasn't grown at all. I had to trim back his crest because of bad vision causing him too many problems.

Annnnd.. before the bad haircut that made him look like he was wearing a bonnet.

He has some type of failure to thrive. He is off balance and had wry neck. Not sure really.. Hasn't needed isolation. None of the others pick on him (THANK GOD!) he wouldn't be able to fight back properly.
