I have the 20 and 50. I love these. So much safer. I tend to use the small one more since I only get a few babies a hatch.

Oh okSorry No I meant that any other shape of comb, (straight, rose, etc.) You are right. The APA Standard says basically the same thing. "V-shaped, of small size, the smaller the better, set evenly on head, retreating into crest, natural absence of comb prefered. If you have a V comb with sprigs that is a DQ. Sorry about that. I was totally not clear in what I was trying to say before.
OMG! What a fabulous picture! Hope you don't mind, I have to send this photo to my daughter who has cats. she will so love it!
They look like what you are thinking. Give it a few more weeks and you should know for sure. Here are some new pics of my Polish. I believe I have a pullet and a cockerel. Anyone agree?
Dipsy- White pullet? (How can I keep her crest clean???) Also, she has a few stray black feathers. One on her neck, and one or two on her wing. Does that make her a Splash? SHe was from Ideal, and Ideal doesn't sell whites, so...
Tequila- Red Cockerel? His crest isn't very round, he has longer tail feathers, and, look at those wattles! My white has none!
