if she has a huge crest likely she had memorized where her food and water was in the pen at her previous home. In a new environment she couldn't find it. pull the crest back with a ponytail holder or trim it with scissors so she can see.
Sorry to hear she didn't make itSad news, our little cuckoo pullet died yesterday. We had force fed her and done everything posible and she started to come around and eat, but then she stwrted to backslide. She developed diarrhea and just couldn't make it.
