I just went out and looked at my Polish girl. It is possible that she wasn't pecked. It looked to me like there were broken pin feathers and an empty space like where she was picked before...but I am not that familiar with how a polish head feathers come in...maybe that is normal. It was raining and she looked like she had NO CREST...but now that she is dry she is a mop head again. My Dad wants to name her Liberace.
I believe he was a larger bantam. he ure was funny and had a great personality.
Im so jealous of your blue eggs!!! I think my one blue is going to be a boy. Hes already got red at the top of his beak like my last polish rooster did at his age (2 weeks). Stinks bevcause I think the blues make for very pretty hens
