I have to talk POLISH!

beautiful!!! I have a wc blue that carries one frizzle gene, and he is pretty, but his hackles have developed a brownish tint, is that from feeding corn based feed? I thought I read that will do it somewhere here. The brownish color is also in his white head feathers. Not the greatest pic, but you can see it well here.
I don't know the answer to that. Maybe someone else knows.

I'm not sure either, but i love him anyway!!!!! When I got him, there was a frizzle hatchling, but someone had already bought it

I brought the 2 home, thinking I would get a frizzle pullet at some point. I gave one away to a friend, and something got in their coop and ate him

Chicken show this weekend!! Now....how do I decide which 2 crele roos get to go to be shown??

Daddy bird one first and reserve conti last time so time for babies to get a try.
Seminole...my little chicks are adorable...great to have some new blood to continue my 5th generation Creles. Will try to have pics soon.

The sun really makes white feathers "brassy." True hard core breeders with white (or white crested)chickens keep them out of the sun at all times. It does make a difference.

It's probably the sun. I keep all my show birds out of the sun. This is the indoor room they live in. (Its a YouTube video)
This is a video of my new runs for my LF Tolbunts, bantam BL and LF BL flocks

he is so nice!!!!

I love him. He's got to be my favorite roo. His temperament is so nice too.

After talking to you about the cuckoo, I decided to keep a solid black instead. Tell me what you think of this guy. He's in a temporary pen while I'm separating out keepers and those that are going to the chicken swap tomorrow. :)
