I have to talk POLISH!

Hi! I am new to having chickens rule my life! I had 4 hens and 1 roo of the game variety dropped off in my yard about 4-5 months ago. It was love at first sight! My first purchase was a pair of young White Crested Black Polish Bantams that I fell in love with at a TSC swap! They are named Heckle and Jeckle. They laid 6 eggs last month and my DD set them in her incubator for me. Only one hatched. My question is...Why does the chick have pink leggs/feet when the roo and hen have such wonderful slate/grey/black legs/feet?

Thank you..going to try to grab some pics of a couple others this morning...had to move her and another that is very frizzled into their own baby pen this morning...others were non stopped pecking them...seems to happen a lot with the extremely frizzled babies

I want some frizzles!!!! I only have 2 and they are bantam cochins. I really want some polish!! Let me know if you ever have any for sale. I might have to make a road trip!
