I'm on the hunt for more. Of course hubby just doesn't understand why we need more. Because they come in other colors isn't doing me much good. Yet.

My polish started laying about 2 weeks ago. Only problem is that it's been so cold I haven't gotten to the eggs before they were almost frozen! Yikes! Looks like it is going to warm up soon (if you call 32 degrees warm) so I should be able to collect and check fertility on ours. I can't wait!!! I love my polish!

Question: Do Polish do well in Wisconsin? Even if there is supplemental heat? (probably the heat lamp left over from the brooder)

I'd feel they do fine in Wisconsin. Just always be sure to check on them every now and then.

Mine do fantastic here. No extra heat at all. They spend most of their day in their run, they have the choice of in or out. The runs are covered, and right now we have plastic around them. But snow does get in, and they play in it.

Hello, everybody has such beautiful buff laced polish. I'm planning on getting some buff laced polish.

Also, I'm posting here to get this topic going again, the other polish thread is having way to much bickering that there isn't much polish talk going on...
