I have to talk POLISH!

one of my silkies polish eggs pipped today! at 5 oclock, so the baby should be out by the morning!

went to check on the pip earlier and now its much bigger!

I've only read 20 pages here so far. There's a lot of good info. I'm just getting into the Polish breed with a pet quality BCWP & a pair of what I was told were Crele Polish. I understand there is some controversy on how this color variety can be produced. I hope to learn more about the breed & this post will serve as my bookmark to find my way back.

One of Marshies chicks hatched last night! Its a cute little blonde one, so im thinking its part buff laced, since my breeder doesn't separate his colors. I relly hoping its a girl!

I also hope the next one that hatches is brown or grey! The other egg is pipped as well, so it should be out by dinner time. Im relly wanting to buy 2 other ameraucana chicks or polish chicks from my breeder to raise along with these!
OH WHAT TO DO!

not hatching polish before, im not relly sure if their beak is supposed to look that long......my chick doesn't look like it has a comb.....will it grow in sooner or later? do all chicks hatch like this?

thank you! I thought for sure polish had combs....the v combs right? will it come in? or do only the polish roos have combs?

I need sexing help with these 3. I ordered a Hen and a Roo and McMurray sent me an additional Roo. SOooooo Whos who? I got them banded from Left to Right.......Right Leg....Left Leg and No Band

I believe that the one on the far right would be a boy because of the darker color. And the one in the middle. My guess

They do have V combs but when they are that little you don't see them they grow in later.

Does anyone have a mixture of colors in polish smooth or frizzled where colors are separate? Looking for eggs.
