I have to talk POLISH!

No. No runny nose, coughing or lumps. Just the shaking.

I guess I'll just wait and see if it grows out of it. Thank you!

if there's any changes, or it seems to be getting worse..post in the Emergency forum and keep bumping your post to the top so it doesn't get lost in a sea of wry neck/spraddle leg posts :)

Sounds good!

Also, I just checked it's ears, and there isn't anything there. Looks normal. Not sure what could be causing it! I thought maybe it was a respiratory infection, but it hasn't gotten any worse for 5 weeks. It's so puzzling.

Yeah I wouldn't think respiratory. .actually neurological is what popped in my head.. but I would think that if thst were the case it would have progressively gotten worse, maybe not as fast as other more common issues but some progression in all this time.

If it was neurological I was thinking I would've seen things like dizziness or falling over by now, but if it was neurological, how would I address that?

Also, my silkie is doing the same thing. They even sometimes twitch in unison.

Just out of curiosity. .when it happens are they inside or out? And what type of bedding do you use?

I don't know that there is a tx for something neurological. . But unless both were injured at the same time as babies, I don't think you have to worry about it being neuro related. And I agree, if it were neuro they would either be worse by now or showing other signs

I occasionally put ACV in their water. I feed them non-medicated starter and I give them no added vitamins or supplements, though I would be willing to do so if it would get rid of the twitching.

Try adding some Poly viSol for infants to their water (or even a drop on their beak 2x a day) and give them some scrambled eggs a couple of times a week to see if that changes anything..

What about bedding? Does it happen inside , outside or both?

You are in the US, right?

Ok. I'll try that.

It happens inside and outside, but more frequently inside. I use pine shavings.

And yes, I'm in the US.

Edit:

So a drop of Poly viSol without iron, right? If this helps them, how long will it take for them to respond to treatment?
