I have to talk POLISH!

The other day, I finally pulled the dead petunias out of the basket and planted mums in it. I thought if I pack the basket full of mums, Bowie would give up and go sleep with his girls, but nooooo....I went out tonight and there he was in his basket, right smack on top of the (now smooshed flat) mums. Bless him.

I'm guessing pullet at this point. Do you see any pointy saddle feathers? That I can't see from the picture. Either way, you have very pretty birds! We have little silkies too and love them.

IDK about the saddle feathers, to me ALL my chickens look like they have pointy saddle feathers. I feel bad for my silkies because only my 2 Polish are nice to them. The rest are mean and chase them. But the polish in the pic was quarantined with the 2 silkies so when my buffs get a peck in she attacks the buff LMAO. She/he is their little protector!

I made a real dumb mistake. I have a silkie roo and hen, and a BLP hen that was picked on, and until about 10 days ago, a young roo. Silkie has been sitting on egg. Never thought much about it. I figured I should remove it today. I candled it. It's in the second trimester already. So it went back under the silkie.

Here's the mom and dad. Dad's a Crele mutt.
