I have to talk POLISH!

Hey, everyone! I have a breeding pair of polish almost at the point of lay! They are my favorite so far.

yeah! I think he might be a mutt too. This is my first time having chickens, and I'm trying to learn all of the breeds. A lot of people ask if he is a polish!! I have brahmas, isbars, legbars, Marans, and silkies as well.

Well there may have been a sneaky houdan around. I know houdans have 5 toes. My roo has 4. I don't know the genetics and all, but I was told it was a polish!

I think in mixes, you never know what "jewelry" you're going to end up with. But his comb is so distinctive, I think I would look for a breed that has that. Try Feathersite.com http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGD/Houdan/BRKHoudan.html

I think I did try that site. I typed in every possible mix, and it looks like he has some houdan in him.
