I have to talk POLISH!

I think it looks very henish but i'm not an expert. the reason i thinks hen because its wattles are not red and it has a very round crest

I had a near death experience with one of my chicks. I had 2 bantam polish chicks that hatched in the last 24 hours under my broodie. I went to check on them and one chick was laying next to mom flat, cold and not moving. I picked it up to dispose it and it moved its leg! It was still alive! I brought it in and held it under my heat lamp. It started to squirm around and chirp. I called a friend and she told me to make it the egg yoke and sugar water mix. My husband did that while I kept it under the lamp. It's an hour later and standing and chirping! Ya!! I am taking the other baby away from the broodie because I can't chance it. This is the little one;

I agree...girl on the right, boy on the left, if you go by the crest. How many days apart in hatching are they. Does the left chick still need to fluff?

I have been reading about sexing Polish when they are born. Round and full = girl and oblong = boy. What do u think?
My guess is the one on the right is a girl and the other a boy?

Never go by crest size or shape in chicks under a week old! Crest size and shape is almost always about quality, at least, pertaining to the SOP. It has to do with how much of a vaulted skull there is, how profuse the feathering is, how long it is, and if there will be a lopped crest or not, or if it will be too swept back or not, which happens in either gender.

As day olds, really, the only methods that work are vent sexing and feather sexing (if they're bred for it, which most hatchery stock is) Otherwise just wait.

ETA - my last batch of Polish came out with 3 that had oblong, small crests, 5 that had nice big full round ones. ALL were girls.
