I have had a hen who has been getting pecked around the butt for like six months. I have asked and asked about this and everybody has said Blukote and I have tried blukote but it doesnt work. What else can I do?? And also today I was watching her and she pooped water, there was nothing solid in it she has been eating really good. What can I do for that and what happened?
Thanks!

Have you tried separating her then reentering her once her vent area has healed?

BluKote is not made for an anti-pick med. It's an antiseptic/anesthetic. I'm not sure why folks keep recommending it as something it was never made to do. It may sometimes disguise a spot in some areas, but it doesn't really stop picking reliably. Even actual anti-pick remedies like Rooster Booster Anti Pick sometimes won't work if the picking is related to a wound or the bird in question is ill and the others know it and are ostracizing the flock member.

Does she have an actual wound? If so, you need to separate her until it heals up completely. A wound would heal in two months. You may need to post a picture so we can see what you're talking about.

Is it a wound or is she just missing butt feathers? If so, could be an extended molt or lice/mites.

The weird poop could mean worms, could mean she has an infection like egg yolk peritonitis or just about anything.
