I have two Roosters! Is this a problem?

for me, just the body shape and the head screams hen. not sure when roosters grow spurs, but those show no sign of spurs.
plus the fact that they aren't crowing yet. (the crowing part isn't a dead giveaway since they can start crowing later on)

My BO rooster still didn't have spurs when he passed away this winter at almost a year old. Tour BO does look like my BO hens except none of them were red until right before they started laying. My roo had beautiful irredescent gold feathers on his neck and an impressive tail. Your wyn does look like a roo to me. No advice though because I only ever had one and he was kike yours, always great with the ladies and a real sweetie to me too

My husband and I rescued a couple of chicks wandering in the desert. Now that they are about 6-8 weeks old I think they are Roosters. The little nodules on the inside of the ankles are growing. ACK! They sleep together and nuzzle each other so I'm hoping for happy adults. I guess I'd better locate some hens!

I hope it works out for you! So far mine get along just fine. Still no crowing but I think Ivans hackle and saddle feathers are starting to come in. They are fine and pointed and a much darker gold than the rest of him. He is HUGE!

My daughter and I were commenting though that Virgil holds himself much more upright than Ivan. Ugh! It's so hard to wait for clarification. :-(

They are crowing and definitely have spurs coming in. So far so good they still cuddle together. Some arguments over who gets to crow. A new behavior is they like to jump on each others back. Silly boys. Hope you get clarification soon. Now back to building the coop so they can crow outside!

I have 2 and they seem to get along pretty good. When I first got them they fought a little and I would see signs of mild fighting but I haven't seen any problems in a really long time.

just curious how your roos are getting along. i have two that have been hatched together. they are starting to fight but the dominant too continues to win.
