If you miss the animals, sit down and decide exactly what you have time for, and don't forget to include allowances for yourself to be social, work on other hobbies, etc. Maybe just a little pen of banties would be enough for you! As far as your husband goes, just tell him since he never did any of the work, he doesn't get a say. Sounds like a teenager.

Sort of sounds as if it would be better for you and any animals to wait until such a time as you are able to care for them properly. Maintaining animals will always be work if it is done properly. Immediate gratification is not always a good thing.
