At least I THINK its ducks, lol, I have four goose eggs that COULD hatch anywhere from the 29th to June 2nd.(and four more later).
Due the 29th and 30th I have 17 mixed duck eggs and 14 Indian Runner duck eggs.
Now I am terribly nervous. The humidity is up. I guess I just sit on my hands and wait.

After saving Duckbutt I really think I will eventually keep ducks here as well. He was a hoot. Best of LUCK!!!

Actually most of these ducks (depends on what hatches and such) are going to my aunts. She has wanted more Indian Runners in the very worst way.
I am going to have to go over to one of the "duck" threads and read up some more.
They DO sound a little different from chicks...but today is only the 26th, I hope that doesnt mean anything bad.
Ack. I feel like an expectant mom.
Hey....and whadda ya know??? Peeping is coming from the other incubator! I have guineas, chickens and turkeys due the 29th as well, so again I am SITTING ON MY HANDS AND TELLING MYSELF IT IS A GOOD THING NOT TO OPEN THE INCUBATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just checked again and there is a first pip!! Now I REALLY have to work on being patient.

There are at least a couple of pips now, I use the flashlight to find them, lol. I have heard ducks are less vocal when they are hatching than chickens but since these are my first ducks, I will just have to see. So far its true!

My ducks are pipping tonight to. The first one started between 3:00 and 4:00 this afternoon. First one, two, three, four, and now I have six pips! How long before they hatch? Should I help them out of the shell? I don't know what to do, I've only read how to hatch, never done this before.

I have heard that ducks take longer to hatch out than chickens?
I am taking a "wait and see" attitude and leaving the incubator closed unless for certain its a dire emergency!
So I suggest waiting, even though it seems like they are hatching forever.....four pips...they are still quieter than chicks when hatching though. So far.

They are definitely taking longer than chicks. Though there are quite a few good sized holes with little duck bills sticking out, lol!!
I must NOT open the incubator is my mantra.....
