I Hear DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never hatched chicks before so I don't know how long they take. I have ducks who have hatched their own eggs, I've hatched geese in an incubator, and I can tell you from experience, ducks and geese take about 24-36 hours after the external pip. As long as their still talking and moving inside the shell, they're fine.

Oh yes, they are moving like CRAZY. I was hoping all my monitoring and babying these along would pay off at least a little bit. We are keeping two of the ducks, the rest are going to my aunt.
Yep, pictures after hatch!

I cant take good pictures through the plastic window of an LG.

I've been careful to spray water on the eggs to keep them moist so I've been opening my 'bator but only breifly. I have all 10 eggs piping and one hatched tonight! I hope the other hurry up, the little one is all alone in the brooder all nice and warm! My kids watched the whole hatching, it was a great experience for them!

Oh, this is funny, because so far I have five duckies out and five eggs pipping.

There might be more, its kind of hard to see.
On a sad note, one of the eggs that is open a lot is filled with blood. I am not sure what to make of it as I have never seen that happen before.....in my limited experience I would say that one doesnt have much of a chance of making it.

I have had to cull before and dont care for it, I am letting nature take its course either way.

10 are out and yet more are pipping.

I literally didnt sleep last night for keeping an eye on the hatch, like a nervous mama, lol.

I can get pics today when I take them out of the incubator, but need to forward the pics to someone to post them here. There are brown ones, yellow ones, spotted ones etc.
