I heart Rapanuis

Here is a few pics of my six week old Quechua, Olmecs, and Colloncas. Having a hard time guessing the sex of the Olmecs and sweat potatoe Quechua.. I love all the vivid colors. I can not wait to see how they turn out. Ignore the little Olive eggers.

Any guesses on the sex of this Olmec?

What about this Quechua?

And this one?

But you never really know... how 'bout a few newer pick? ~Yashar

Thank you for the response Yashar. It is difficult to figure this out when i can find so little information on them.

I will be posting some newer pics very soon.

Hi, I am hoping this is not too far off topic... I've been researching the origins of Frizzle and Naked Neck characteristics in West African chickens and it looks like both characters were in Ghanaian chickens by the 1750s. Naked Neck is thought to have come from Malaysia originally and Frizzle is believed to have originated in Fiji.

Has anyone seen the frizzle character in this breed? I've seen Frizzle in the Moa Samoa.

It would just be nice to narrow it down to one or a cluster of island breeds.

Thanks

Just wanted to post a few pics of my Colloncas and Quechua.

My favorite boy...

Here is his sister and Quechua friend...

I will try to get some pics of my Olmec hens. They do not seem to want their photo taken.
