I hit the ground running, but I really wish I'd stayed in bed.

Seven AM, I got out of bed and went to start my laundry. Had to spend 20 minutes wrestling with a coffee stain on my work slacks. (I have a semi-part time job with a local catering company.) It only mostly came out. I hope my apron will cover it.

10:30 AM, Benjamin came in the house and said "Ears is dead...." Ears was my favorite goat. 1/2 Nubian, 1/2 LaMancha, great udder, sweet temper, history of twins...

Then Digit started screaming. After two weeks on this planet, he's ready to be done. Can't say I blame him.

Then, because of the dead goat, we needed to, ahem, remove the body. She weighs as much as I do, so we need the riding lawnmower and it's trailer.
Oh, look... The lawnmower's battery is dead.

So it had to be taken into the Walmart to be recharged.
So glad I have a drill for JROTC tonight. I really need it, I think. Going to try and send some positive energy out there in the hopes that it will come back... Free eggs for my fellow Cadets today. At least the hens are laying.

So sorry to hear about your goat. :hugs
I hate those days when everything seems to go swirling down the drain, one disaster after another, they kinda seem to magnify each other.
I hope you have fun tonight. (or would that be now, given time zone differences?) :D

Thanks for the responses, everybody. It was just One Of Those Days.
The drill in the evening really did help. I can't say why, but when I'm marching and we're all in a straight line and on the same rhythm it seems like the rest of the world is on beat and in a straight line.

Even though that couldn't be further from the truth.

However... Today neither the Suburban nor the Geo Metro would start. The Toyota needs it's inspection done.

Our cars are falling like dominoes!
