I impulse bought rooster booster liquid b12 today, should i return it?

I think maybe b complex would be better choice for my first aid kit for ducks geese and chickens. bought the B12 on impulse, but it's 22$ and maybe dont need it? what is it good for?

B12 deficiency is very hard to diagnose, but generally doesn't occur, assuming a quality commercial feed. I'd return it. Even a number of common "make at home" feed recipes (and how I rail against those) cintain ingredients providing sufficient B12 to meet a chicken's needs.
