I joined to figure out whats wrong with my gosling

Unfortunately, the longer slipped tendon goes untreated, the less chance of a positive outcome, but that's the first thing I would treat for.

Giving vitamin E 400iu with some boiled egg plus some B-complex can help deal with any neurological issue and strengthen the legs.

Lameness is one of the most difficult things to treat in chickens as it has so many causes that often defy nailing down. All you can do it treat and hope something makes a difference.

By the way, continue with the antibiotic until the course is completed as infection can be one cause of lameness.
Alright I'll finish with the antibiotics, he trys so hard to get around, when I have him out hes determined to walk (when I take him out hes always on a soft surface to avoid further injury) he'll get up on his one leg and he'll make his way all the way across the room. But I'm going to make a second vet appointment and see if it is his tendon. I've also been toying with the idea that if his leg wont heal, would amputation and 3D print prosthetic be okay?

His tendon is slipped. Don't let him walk anymore, he's going to injure himself worse. Did you read the article I posted? I think it will really help you. I wouldn't amputate the leg. If you act now, it has the possibility of recovering. Make him a sling like in the article.

Stop the antibiotics, they're clearly not helping.

I did read it and I'll definitely make one! Thank you guys so much! You've helped me more in a few minutes then the vet did the whole visit

You're welcome! Vets cost so much money, I wouldn't bother going back. I hope your little darling recovers!

Alrighty, also his leg is really tight. Should I work with it to loosen everything? It wont even bend, not even the slightest bit

I also hope he recovers too, me and my boyfriend are just so taken back with how sweet he is. And I'm sure his little companion is missing him too

I would soak it and massage it a lot. I think the chair will really help. Make sure you separate him too, ad make sure he's eating and drinking. Make sure it doesn't get too hot or cold either.
