Actually, I found it on this site. I cannot remember who posted it, but they had wonderful pictures and easy to follow instructions. The incubator they made had pink duct tape on it.
lol where were the eggs stored when they "sat" out for 14 days? hopefully not outside, i was dumb one time and didnt candle my silkie eggs till about 15 days and they were "half" dark, so i was like yay they are growing, well day 21 came and i looked and they were exploded and NASTY, a rotten egg can look half dark by then, and be really confusing, just wondering if they were stored inside, hopefully they are, im just trying to give you some advice to what might happen,

Actually these eggs belong to one of my neighbor's, Heather, and she stored them in her house but did not turn them. She then gave them to another neighber (she had them somewhere between 12 and 14 days) to incubate for her and he had them for three days. He was turning them and had them in his garage. When I told him I built an incubator. He said well let's try these in there. So they were something like 15 - 17 days old when I put them in. So I was in real doubt that they would do anything. (Not that I know what I am doing, just reading posts on this site).
they should be good then, as hot as it is here and im sure there to, if they were outside they'd be cooked, i was just hoping you wouldnt say they've been outside, good luck and it does sound like they are devoloping!!
Dark means they are doing something. Dunno whether they are doing something bad or good but they are doing something lol If your incubator starts to smell it means at least one is doing something bad and you better find it. If they are clear after a week aside from maybe a little shaded spot for the yolk they aren't doing nothing.
