I Just Dropped an e.g.g!!! I am so sad!

I was just moving my e.ggs into my hatcher and I dropped an egg. I bent down to pick it up, and heard chirping, (today is day 19, I am a little late in moving them, because my other bator didn't get shipped like it was supposed to) it appeared to have internally pipped. I hoped maybe I could save it, I wrapped the e.g.g in a wet paper towel and was getting ready to put it back in the bator, hoping it would be ok, but it just wasn't ready. It died before I got it back in the bator. I opened the egg the rest of the way and it hadn't fully absorbed the yolk, and there was a lot of blood. It was a perfect little b&w mottled cochin. I am so sad, and so mad at myself!!

aww Im sorry you might have just put it in cracked I did that the other day and felt horrible but I put it in with the rest.

Well at least you did it now when it has a chance. As long as the membrane is intact he could still very likely hatch.
