I didn't want to post it till it had worked several times, but here it is, 3 successful times in a row.

I built a small (3'x6') run type structure, very easily moved out of a bunch of 3 foot long 2x4's and old horse fencing. Cheap and simple
On a warm day about 2.5-3 months into the chickens young lives(fully feathered and easily jumping and perching) I put the structure into the chicken run with an old door on top in case it rained(I know chintzy but it works and the size was right). Of course the girls swarmed the run excited to see and peck what was inside. I let the little ones sit inside like this for about two weeks feeding and watering them as usual, and letting the other birds get used to them. After the two weeks I lifted up one end of the cage and let them run out. The other birds didn't even care! They got a peck here and there, but nothing detrimental. I hope this helps!

I like it. I have a single adult with a crooked neck to integrate. I have been letting them free range together but I have not confined her in the coop/run yet. I might do something similar soon.
