So i was at a party at my neighbors place and i found out they have a wild peacock living under their bridge

They told me they tried to catch it but he is really wild

Good luck once folks start chasing peas they become peacock savvy and will allude anyone in pursuit, they are very smart like that , i have lots of free rangers all will eat from your hand but if i suspect one is feeling bad or a little off and they see me checking them out they will do what ever it takes to hide from me.

If this is truly a feral peacock and it is not causing problems i would leave it alone, being put in a cage after years of being free would be like you getting locked in your bathroom and never being allowed out again.

if you would like peafowl save yourself some time and purchase some, babies are wonderful and fun to watch them grow and go threw all the feather changes they go threw

If he has been living there you can bet he knows every wild critter in the area by their first name, he ain't no dummy , now if he escaped and has only been on his own for a shot period then i would be concerned, i have had peafowl here sense 2010 and have never lost one to a wild critter, my dogs take very good care of them but the peas let the dogs know if anything strange is in the area even if it is just a turtle or frog, or a plastic bag blowing across the field
