I just got called a chick murderer! *little rant*

[Attack Chicken]

We were talking about chickens and of course eggs today in Agriculture class and someone asked about eating fertile eggs. Everyone looked at me since I'm the chicken person here

And I said yes I do. There is no difference in taste to me. For some reason almost half the people looked at me with a disgusting look on their face like I just picked my nose or something LOL

... Then I explained that I like the choice I have of whether putting them in the incubator to hatch or frying them up in the morning to eat. Then some one yelled out that I was a chick murderer...WOW I asked them if they ever ate at Mcdonalds and they said yes.. Have you ever ate their yummy chicken nuggets? They said yes. I know it's not true but I said well for every nugget you eat that is 1 chick you eat. They ranted about Mcdonalds and then shut up and left me alone.I laughed to myself and got on with my day. HA fun day!

I actually had someone tell me (whos family raised chickens) that you can't eat a fertilized egg. Why? Get this................. Because that white stuff is rooster semen and it is poisonous

Yep! That was over 20 years ago, long before I had chickens but I still haven't forgotten it. He was my roommate and his parents dropped off a ton of eggs. He asked me and the other roommate if we wanted eggs. We said yes and he would crack one, throw it away, crack another, throw it away. When I asked him why that is what he said !
