I know what you mean!!! I ordered my new chicks from McMurray on Feb 2nd, the'll be here the 23rd & I'm so EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We already have 4 buff orpingtons that we raised last year (from a local feed store). They are laying very well, too!
I ordered 3 types of Wyandottes: SL's, GL's, & BLR's.
I'm having to brood mine in the xtra bedrm - the high today isn't even 40' here (Puget Sound/W.Wash) as I did last year. My brooder is RTG - got all the bedding, dishes are sterilized.....Now just wait for the babies!
