Been getting them for years, today my pullets started! And I am giddy with excitment. it is so fun to get eggs!

I find the little pullet egg from the first Annie (Naked Necks are called Annie). I thought I heard the egg song last week, and the last three days the little pullet egg is all nestled up to the ceramic egg in the nest box. Should be seeing the other 4 Annies laying soon, then the Dellies (Delaware pullets) should kick in. I am thinking that a month from now about the only one that won't be laying are the Silkies, and that may be that I have all boys.
It is great to see the cycle of life.
