She went down tonight without screaming. We took her to the doctor just in case. Not only did she get 2 teeth at the same time but she has a pretty wicked viral infection that has been going around. Thankfully he thinks she is already past the worst of it. He did give the bad news that probably everyone else should have it soon. Its hard with the older ones and a sick baby though. They just don't grasp mom only got an hour sleep so it not up to having all your friends over and running to do fun stuff for the next 8 hours. Instead the oldest informed me that I take the fun out of everything. sigh

It is better tonight though. If the others get it, they are older and easier to cope with. Tv and meds and they are happy to spend the entire day being sick in their rooms.

Oh man, I feel for you. Sounds like the little one got hit hard with the teething and virus at the same time. But just FYI for teething I found nothing better than a homeopathic from Hylands called Teething tablets. They dissolve in the mouth and taste sweet. Homeopathy is very very safe, very dilute plant materials. Around here you can get the Hylands teething tablets at Walmart. 8$ or so. WELL WELL WELL worth the money. They are so good at calming the crying I used them long after teething for nightmares.

And, Heather, I'm glad she's past the worst of it! I wouldn't worry TOO much about your kids saying you take the fun out of everything. Life isn't all fun and games. Some day...when they're parents themselves....they'll understand.
